Happy Birthday Sam & Sally

This month our snakes turned 1. (well, at least we have had them for 1 year) We celebrated by making a birthday cake and singing happy birthday to them. I do have to say that over the past year, I have warmed up to them a LITTLE. I have picked them up once or twice to help the twins pass them to each other. But that is a big step for me. The kids and Jason are very comfortable with the snakes and love every chance to play with them. I do have to say that for a pet they are very very low maintenance. You only have to feed them once every few weeks, they don't smell, and they don't make noise, and their tank is very easy to keep clean because they only "go potty" after they have eaten. Jason feeds them, and cleans the tank so I don't mind having them around.

Sam & Sally both like to be held, and don't seem to mind the kids when they fling them around. They are very calm, good pets.

Happy 1st Birthday little snake's!

AHH!!! You are so brave. I would never let any snakes in our house. Luckly for me, Emma hates them too. You are such a cute mom to make them a cake!
